Sunday services

11:00, 18:30 & 20:00

There are two main services held each Sunday. The morning service at 11:00 has a gospel focus. Inspiration is a meeting for young people aged around 15 - 30, which meets at the manse on the third Sunday of each month for lunch, Bible study and fellowship.

A prayer meeting is held before the evening service at 18:00. The evening service at 18:30 is more oriented towards teaching. A crèche is available for young children, and the Sunday School runs concurrently with the morning service.

After the evening service light refreshments are provided except on the first Sunday. On the second Sunday of every month, the 16-plus group meet. If you're interested in coming along to that (and you're not too old...) ask Gerald for details.

Farsi bible study

4:30 (Every 6 weeks)

Bible study for those familar with the Farsi tongue. Ask the Pastor for more details.

Special services

We often have a series of special services, which are shorter than usual and are intended to be more accessible to people who don't usually go to church.

There are also annual Christmas and Easter services, details of which are usually available in the notice sheet a month or so in advance.

Christianity Explained

We also run Christianity Explained courses at various times during the year, which are intended to teach the basic fundamentals of the Christian faith through study and discussion. The course consists of a set of informal classes, usually taking place on a weekday in the evening. No prior knowledge of Christianity is assumed. The classes are open to anyone who might be interested, and no-one will be expected to pray or sing.

Feel free to contact us, for dates and times of courses, at enquiries@hwec.org.uk.
