Update - Sunday School
Age range:
- Lower 3/4 - 6/7
- Upper 7/8 ( year 3 at school) - 11
AIMS
- * The conversion and spiritual growth of children from Church families.
- * To enable families to come to a Sunday morning together
- * To teach the gospel to children whose parents don't at present come.
These are the aims of both our Sunday classes. We endeavour to teach truths from the Bible in a way that is helpful to the children and use different methods to stimulate interest and enthusiasm.
Our time together is usually 50 - 60 minutes during which time the children are presented with the Gospel and their need of a Saviour. We learn verses, sing and, through a variety of activities become more familiar with the teachings of the Bible.
Children often 'open up' to others in a way that possibly they don't to those nearest to them and share concerns and problems which can be prayed about.
Please pray for more children to come to both classes, pray for conversions, pray for spiritual growth and insight, pray for the teachers and especially that God would use us as a means for reaching into the community with the gospel.
